- REMEMBER to bring a valid Passport OR Birth Certificate w/raised
seal & drivers license to enter the Bahamas. More here.
- Be sure to confirm your flight times, some of Continential Airline's schedules have changed. Also, most of the small airlines usually limit checked bags to a 40 lb. maximum weight (and charge $1./lb. over this), so be sure to pack light. NOTE: Continental reportedly allows 2 checked bags of 50 lbs. each and a 40 lb. carry on bag.
- Try to hook up with other wedding guests to share an airport shuttle to the ferry dock. Be sure to ask the ferry captain to drop you off at the Hopetown Harbour Lodge dock.

A Wedding In The Abacos ...
Rick and Laura plan to tie the knot down island way on Hopetown, Elbow Cay, in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas on May 27, 2006. A Wedding ceremony by the sea is planned followed by a sunset reception overlooking the harbor scene shown below. Snow is not anticipated! We feel it is the perfect romantic setting for our special day.
